As an incumbent in the K-12 3D printing industry, MakerBot's offering has not improved dramatically in the last 5 years and new entrants were entering the space with a more efficient cost structure along with newer technology.

- MakerBot ISTE trainings for teachers and students to help them level up in their 3D printing knowledge

The work
In less than 6 months, I led a team in hardware/software/firmware development and go-to-market strategy to launch the company's first ecosystem solution offering (as opposed to a single hardware offering). The Sketch Classroom includes a newly developed 3D printer and value-added services such as software, lesson plans, and certification programs.
